Now, when I started reading this one, I would have said "Yep this is probably what the future of America looks like!"
However, since then we have a new President projected for the White House (HOORAY!) so maybe it won't come to pass.
Either way, I loved this book. It is topical and emotional and whether you can empathize or sympathize with our protagonist Layla Amin, it makes you think about the complicity of silence.
Aside from the very relevant topic, it's insanely well written, Layla is a compelling character and you actually learn things too.
